I was heart broken to see a little koala burnt and whimpering over the Christmas holidays due to the Australian Bush Fires.
I decided I had to do something but really didn’t know what.
My art seemed like a good place to start.
After looking at various charities and who was doing what, I found one called The Rescue Collective. They are a small, hands on charity that help wildlife animals by dropping food bundles into the forest.
So then I contacted local distillers Husk to see if they would chip in a couple of bottles of spirits, along with one of my paintings for a gold coin donation.
The competition is running over the month of February and we would like to raise $1000.
Any support is welcome and I encourage you to check Husk Distillers. They have a fantastic ink gin as well as open spaces to sit and watch life unfold on their lawns.
